DESCRIPTION

FDC Solutions’ RBOM Replaced Parts job was created as an alternative to the DBS Standard Job Repair Bill of Material Change-Up Job. The FDCS job reviews all Repair Bill of Materials (RBOMs) in DBS for any replaced or discontinued parts, and if any are found, it will update the RBOMs with the replacing part numbers, assuming the replaced parts are not in stock at any of the dealership stores. If found in inventory at any of the stores dealership-wide, the part that has been replaced will not be updated on the RBOM, ensuring you will use up existing stock. A new report will be generated, listing any parts that are found in dealer stock.

Automates the T86 process allowing dealers to exclude core charges by various parameters.

DESCRIPTION

The Core Exception Module was designed to automate the process of allowing dealers the option not to charge a given customer for a core charge. Parameter driven, dealers can decide when and where to remove this charge, or simply delay the charge while waiting for the customer to return the core. Enhanced visibility features provide the ability to review all cores waiting to be invoiced, and also release those cores, if the circumstances warrant. Whether employed as a volume incentive, tax break/deferment, or a customer service offer in and of itself, the Core Exception module offers added flexibility for managing the sometimes complex interaction between dealers and customers with regards to the core return process.

SUMMARY

Automates entire kitting process, including accounting, invoicing, updating inventory, and applying accurate parts pricing.

DESCRIPTION

The impetus for this module stemmed from the fact that many dealers struggle with the larger Kitting process. Current dealer management systems (DMS) lack strong Kitting functionality and require labor intensive work-arounds from dealer personnel. Dealers are then also challenged with managing the inventory and ensuring accurate pricing, accounting, and invoicing. The FDC module automates the entire Kitting process from ordering through invoicing. Developed in tandem with Empire CAT, this application automatically updates inventory, accounting, and allows dealers to easily maintain and update Kit Bill of Materials (BOMs). Importantly, parts pricing is calculated at the point-of-sale and accounts for all current pricing parameters, including eligible marketing programs, replaced parts, and price tape updates.
