DESCRIPTION

Developed in tandem with Blanchard Machinery, this module was designed to overcome a number of the challenges resulting from Sales/Rental personnel often being tasked with inventory control and management for attachments and work tools in DBS EMS. Attachments are inherently difficult to manage and locate physically, with Sales/Rental groups also lacking the tools to know when and how much to reorder, leading to expensive write-offs and stock outs. The Attachment Inventory module offers a unique solution in marrying EMS to the DBS Parts system, applying the advanced functions already existing in Parts to EMS. The result is that attachments and worktools are ordered, sold, and rented through EMS, just as users are accustomed to, yet with the advantages of increased visibility, accountability, and auditing rooted within Parts. Users receive pro-active suggested re-order quantities, have total visibility to physical location, and can virtually eliminate mismanagement of inventories and the associated write-offs, often accepted as costs of business.
