The GLPTREX0 check provides a way to easily identify and correct errors in the General Ledger File (GLPTREX0) before posting to the general ledger. Avoid those middle-of-the-night calls to the IT department to correct abends caused by data errors, or worse yet, avoid spending already over-stretched time and resources hunting down and correcting errors after the transaction is already on the General Ledger.
