SUMMARY

DBS does not apply marketing programs to Flat Rate Work Orders, which makes the pricing of standard jobs and the claiming process to CAT very time consuming.

DESCRIPTION

Currently, DBS does not apply marketing programs to Flat Rate Work Orders, which makes the pricing of standard jobs and the claiming process to CAT very time consuming. FDC Solutions’ Marketing Programs for Flat-Rate Work Orders application was developed jointly with CAT and dealer input. The claiming process is now automatic and allows you to set pricing in your standard jobs, simplifying the process drastically. Parameters control notification of the discounts being applied and which program to apply them to, and discounts are applied automatically with no user involvement required. The flat-rate invoice remains unchanged, and the Marketing program claim to CAT is automatically submitted for reimbursement. We also allow flexible accounting options for discounts.

The RBOM Replaced Parts job was created as an alternative to the DBS Standard Job Repair Bill of Material Change-Up job.

DESCRIPTION

FDC Solutions’ RBOM Replaced Parts job was created as an alternative to the DBS Standard Job Repair Bill of Material Change-Up Job. The FDCS job reviews all Repair Bill of Materials (RBOMs) in DBS for any replaced or discontinued parts, and if any are found, it will update the RBOMs with the replacing part numbers, assuming the replaced parts are not in stock at any of the dealership stores. If found in inventory at any of the stores dealership-wide, the part that has been replaced will not be updated on the RBOM, ensuring you will use up existing stock. A new report will be generated, listing any parts that are found in dealer stock.
