• Browser-based. Unlike other warehouse applications, v2 is presented as an intuitive, browser-based application, enabling simplified setup and streamlining the training of new warehouse personnel in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
• Platform-independent. At a time when dealers find it more difficult to find internal personnel to manage their IBM i systems, v2 can be deployed on IBM’s midrange servers or Windows servers, offering flexibility for dealer IT managers.

Inbound Processing features include receiving functions such as

• the ability to process advanced shipping notices (ASNs), parts from any supplier, stock transfers, and returns
• crossdock functionality for warehouses that also serve as distribution centers
• one-step (receipt to bin) and two-step (receipt to dock, followed by putaway) receiving
• putaway processing (customized putaway rules, location assignment based on volume, and putaway queue and sequencing)

Outbound Processing features include order fulfillment functions such as

• customized order escalation rules and order tracking within the warehouse process
• support for pick planning as well as picking, packing, staging, directed staging, shipping, and order pickup processes
• parameter-driven control over pick sequence, zone picking, and batch picking
• production of contents labels at the time of packing

• daily cycle counts by part number or location
